ANUSET surveysANUSET surveys allow you to obtain comprehensive student feedback on teaching and learning at the end of semesters. These evaluation surveys are available in a variety of forms and are available in hard copy or online. In consultation with CEDAM, lecturers are also able to customise their evaluation by adding a limited number of their own questions. ANUSET Surveys are voluntary and confidential (except where local arrangements have been negotiated). Surveys that are available for lecturers are:
Customised evaluationsANUSET questionnaires allow you to add up to four of your own questions, based on your specific course and teaching requirements. The Evaluation Team at CEDAM are available to help you frame appropriate questions. CEDAM also offers Online ANUSET, a web-based evaluation, which has the advantage of being highly customisable. Statistical summaries for each evaluation conducted are provided to individual teaching staff after course results are published on ISIS. ANUSET can be used in the mid-course for formative evaluation in which case the results are processed before this time (however it is a requirement that the students are informed of this arrangement prior to completing the evaluation forms). Ratings Interpretation Guide (RIG)The Ratings Interpretation Guide (RIG) offers analysis of historic student evaluation data on courses and teaching (lecturing or tutoring) to allow lecturers get an indication of how students' responses to their teaching and courses compare to students' responses to comparable teaching. The data is aggregated on a rolling three year average. The aggregated data is broken down by course characteristics such as College, teaching style (e.g. lecturing or tutoring), and first and later year. Key contacts
Each College has an ANUSET Co-ordinator who arranges the delivery and return of ANUSET forms and is normally your first point of contact. |
