The GradCertHE supports participants in the design and pursuit of personal professional learning (development) plans through tuition, structured readings
and reflections and by conducting projects directly related to their current practice needs. Components of the program are explicitly tailored to support the enhancement of skills in the scholarly facilitation and management of learning. Completing the Graduate Certificate provides valuable credentials in higher education within a program that both capitalises on work that the participant is currently doing and is individually tailored. Note: The GradCertHE does not provide accreditation for teaching in schools. Contact RequirementsTeaching and learning contact time will total approx 120 hours per 6 unit course and may include class meetings course readings, project work and on-line discussions. Between face-to-face sessions participants will be expected to engage in course readings, project work and on-line discussions. The program is flexible - participants can customise their study commitments to meet specific needs, subject to overall assessment requirements. DurationThe GradCertHE commences each year in Semester 2, and is designed to be completed over 18 months of part time study, with a maximum completion time of 3 years.
