CEDAM offers support and development to ensure a strong and innovative commitment to students, and best practice in introducing students to research and research networks.

Information for Supervisors

The Research Supervision @ ANU web site provides ANU supervisors with up-to-date research and practice related to research education and the supervision of Higher Degree by Research candidates.

Graduate Coursework

The award course EDUC8004 Research Supervision is taught in Semester 2 each year and can be taken as part of the ANU’s Graduate Certificate in Higher Education or Master of Higher Education.

Workshops for Supervisors

CEDAM, in conjunction with the ANU Colleges conducts workshops for staff new to research supervision and support Colleges in their work related to supervision more generally. 

Research related to Research Supervision

Staff in CEDAM are actively involved in research and publication related to research education and supervision.
