Research Skills Development: Questions of Curriculum and Pedagogy

The Graduate Research Skills project

ALTC funded project

CEDAM is conducting a study titled The Graduate Research Skills Project. This project aims to scope, within a range of universities, the way in which the 'curriculum' of the Higher Degree by Research (HDR) experience prepares students for academic and non-academic careers.

Resources

A report documenting the outcomes of Stage 1 of the project was completed in April 2008. Entitled The Skills Agenda in Australia: Scoping contemporary initiatives that target HDR candidates, this report was designed to establish a solid foundation upon which new research might be conducted.
