If you are teaching, supervising research students, engaged in leading and managing others, or otherwise responsible in the broadest possible way for enabling others to learn and develop, then the CEDAM graduate coursework programs offer you an opportunity to become more effective in your practice.
If you are ready to experience a new challenge and make a contribution to knowledge, you are invited to consider undertaking a research degree with CEDAM.
The Graduate Certificate in Higher Education provides an opportunity for academics and others (e.g. general staff and postgraduate students) to enhance the effectiveness of their practice as a teacher, research supervisor or academic leader, within a program that is individually tailored and capitalises on work that they are already doing.
The Master of Higher Education builds on the Graduate Certificate in Higher Education, and provides a comprehensive introduction to the study of higher education that includes the areas of teaching and learning, curriculum innovation, research supervision and academic leadership (ie all content areas in the GradCertHE), and the pursuit of an independent project.
The Master of Philosophy degree is offered by CEDAM in the areas of Higher Education and Professional Practice. This is a two year research degree.
The Doctor of Philosophy degree is offered by CEDAM in the areas of Higher Education (including doctoral education, research supervision, policy, practice, aspects of assessment, evaluation and postdoctoral training) and Academic and Professional Practice (including academic work, teaching, learning and curriculum in higher education, continuing professional learning, and the teaching-research nexus). This is a three year research degree.
